NORTHBOROUGH – A series of doors decorated by local artists for Northborough’s ‘Go Out Doors – Northborough’ exhibition is now up for auction.

Interested buyers can bid via the online auction website. The auction will end on June 18 at 2:30 p.m.

Launched as a public art project to be located in Ellsworth McAfee Park in town, Go Out Doors saw nine artists brought in to decorate doors.

The Northborough Cultural Council organized the effort and held an unveiling event in April.

The organizers had planned to hold this auction, which will now split the proceeds between the respective door artists and the Northborough Cultural Council.

“We hope this keeps the excitement going and generates funds,” Cultural Council President Terry Underwood told the Community Advocate in April.

The doors will be on display again and available for pickup during the Culture Council’s CultureFest 2022, taking place on the Town Common on June 18 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
